PET REGULATIONS

Basic rules governing accommodation at Mas Peu del Causse for guests accompanied by a pet, aimed at making their stay as enjoyable as possible while respecting the comfort of other guests staying at the guest house:

• We accept only one pet per room. Only cats and dogs weighing up to 20 kg are allowed, with their own blanket, cage, or necessary accessories. Birds, reptiles, or any other animals are strictly prohibited.

• At Mas Peu del Causse, there will never be more than one room rented to guests with a pet on the same dates of stay, for obvious reasons of potential incompatibility between pets of different owners.

​​

• If on the day of arrival, the guest arrives with one or more unannounced pets, the refusal to accept the pets and their owners at Mas Peu del Causse cannot be considered a modification or termination of the contract initiated by the owner of the guest house. Therefore, in the event of the guest's departure, no refund can be considered.

• The pet owner must maintain the animal in appropriate hygienic and sanitary conditions.

​​

• The owner is responsible for any damages caused by their pet, whether to people or furniture. A cash deposit of 200€ (Dogs) / 400€ (Cats) is required on the day of arrival, but if damages during the stay exceed this amount, you as a Mas guest commit to fully reimburse these damages, using if necessary the liability insurance of your personal, home, or other insurance.

• Mas Peu del Causse reserves the right to refuse a pet that disturbs other guests or exhibits inappropriate behavior during the stay (e.g., regular barking). The guest must be responsible for their pet at all times and its behavior. Refusal to accept a pet with inappropriate behavior at Mas Peu del Causse cannot be considered a modification or termination of the contract initiated by the owner of the guest house. Therefore, in the event of the guest's departure, no refund can be considered.

• Dogs of breeds considered as PPP are not allowed at Mas Peu del Causse.

• Any pet accepted in one of the rooms at Mas Peu del Causse must not, under any circumstances, be left alone and locked in the room in the absence of its owners, except by prior agreement discussed before booking with the owner of Mas and provided that the animal does not cause any inconvenience to other Mas guests or its owner. The animal must remain calm in the absence of its owners (e.g., no crying or barking), respect the tranquility of the place, and not damage the furniture in the room.

• Pets are not allowed on beds, armchairs, or other furniture in the room.

​​

• Dogs must be kept on a leash within the property.

​​

• Pet owners must ensure that their animal leaves the premises clean and pick up any excrement in and around Mas Peu del Causse.

​​

• It is strictly prohibited to wash pets in the shower of the room and to use Mas towels to dry them.

​​​

Before booking, please inform us if you are traveling with a pet. Don't forget to return a signed copy of this page signifying your agreement to the listed conditions above.
