CONCORDE AMBIENCE AT
MAS PEU DEL CAUSSE

Concorde: A Symbol of Excellence
An undisputed star of aeronautics, an unparalleled example of technological success, a luxurious aircraft chartered for prestige journeys by heads of state and celebrities, the Concorde Air France was the emblem of elegance and refinement "Made in France."
Ambassador of our country's quality, many designers dressed it in magnificence!
Andrée Putman and Raymond Loewy designed the interior decor, Alain Ducasse created the menus, while Jean Patou, Nina Ricci, Christian Dior, Christian Lacroix, and Balenciaga designed the flight crew uniforms.
What could be more natural than to pay tribute to it through "Concordescopia" (*), a private collection of over 1,800 items dedicated solely to the Concorde, possessing major historical and cultural significance, with pieces that do not exist in any aviation museum in the world!
(*) The name given in 2009 to this collection as a nod to the Toulouse aeronautical discovery park project, named Aéroscopia, which opened its doors in 2015, featuring two Concordes on display.

This unique collection, originally located in Toulouse before 2021, is now scattered throughout the Mas Peu del Causse, including in certain rooms of the Mas, the shared guest lounge, and the private area of its passionate owner.
It is possible to visit it (for free) by request only, as it depends on the availability of the passionate owner, Pascal, and the occupancy of the rooms.
«Concorde, a name that represents a dream come true, an exception that became a symbol of excellence. This great human and industrial adventure marks one of the major advancements of the 20th century, and it will forever be etched not only in our memory but also in our imagination. Rooted in the history of humanity since the dream of Icarus, the visions of Jules Verne, the beginnings of aviation, the odysseys of space, and the aeronautical projects aimed at continuing our dream of space conquest, it is an essential step towards a future still unfolding. But Concorde is also the perfect example of the close relationship between technological rigor and timeless beauty, both intricately linked here to give birth to a masterpiece. Elected Design Object of the 20th Century in 2006 following a competition organized by the BBC and the London Design Museum, Concorde is the perfect illustration of this encounter.» Edouard Chemel
Edouard Chemel spent his entire career at Air France, joining in 1948 as a ground radio operator. He became a captain in 1960 and was appointed Concorde captain in 1983. Upon his retirement in 1989, he had accumulated 22,000 flying hours, including 2,000 hours on Concorde.
